Creative Practitioner Residencies – Contemporary Music Composition 2023

Bothy Project’s 2023 contemporary music composition residents were The BICC, Soojin Chang, Max Farrell, Rubie Green and Arun Sood. The composers were selected for week-long residencies at Sweeney’s Bothy, Isle of Eigg as part of our Creative Practitioner Residencies. The selection panel included Richy Carey, Emily Doolittle and Simone Seales.

An online discussion with the contemporary music composition residents took place on 15 November 2023. This event was part of Bothy Project’s ‘in discussion’ series which brings together cohorts of residents to share and discuss their work and research.
