Arun Sood

Arun Sood is a Scottish-Indian writer and musician. Broadly, his varied outputs reflect on and engage with themes of diaspora, heritage, ancestry, language, and memory. With a strong interest in multiform projects and interdisciplinary collaborations, his previous works have combined elements of musical composition, visual art, film, fiction, and archaeology. His project Searching Erskine was released in 2022.

While on Eigg Arun will work on the project Brown Hebrideans made with collaborator Angeline Morrison. The project is a series of compositions for voice, piano, harp and electronics which reinterpret ten Gaelic songs.
