Badenoch and Strathspey

Robyn Braham, originally from Edinburgh, has been living in Aviemore for over three years. She works for the University of the Highlands and Islands as an Instructional Designer, creating eLearning resources. She likes to get out with her camera as much as possible and created a collection of images from her time at Inshriach Bothy. She is also interested in Gaelic and used her time on residency to explore and find out more about the Gaelic landscape around the bothy.

Sarah Hobbs recently set up Strathspey Storywalks, gentle guided strolls which emphasise the interlinked layers of nature, history, culture, folklore, foraging and Gaelic in and around Aviemore, and which continue a storytelling tradition. She also works for the Communities Housing Trust.

Robbie Synge lives in Nethy Bridge. He is an artist and choreographer, working with movement. At the heart of his work is connection with people, land and materials. Collaborations with people who are often untrained tend to result in performances, both indoor and outdoor, but sometimes in film and other outcomes.
