Creative Practitioners in discussion: non-fiction writing residents 2022

Join us for an online discussion with Bothy Project’s 2022 non-fiction writing residents Gaar Adams, Anna Baum, Sophie Lau, Lisette May Monroe, Eleanor McCullough and Natasha Ruwona. The residents will be joined by Orkney-based writer Cal Flyn who was part of the residency selection panel.

This event marks the first of Bothy Project’s ‘in discussion’ series which brings together cohorts of residents to share and discuss their work and research. Bothy Project residencies allow residents time and space to live and work in the Scottish landscape.

The six writers were selected for week-long residencies at Sweeney’s Bothy, Isle of Eigg as part of our Creative Practitioner Residencies series. These residencies were open to UK-based writers with between three and six years of writing experience, but who have yet to publish a book or similarly major body of work.
