Creative Practitioner Residencies – Writing, non-fiction 2022

Bothy Project’s 2022 non-fiction writing residents are Gaar AdamsAnna BaumSophie LauLisette May MonroeEleanor McCullough and Natasha Ruwona. The writers were selected for week-long residencies at Sweeney’s Bothy, Isle of Eigg as part of our Creative Practitioner Residencies series. These residencies were open to UK based writers with between three and six years of writing experience, but who have yet to publish a book or similarly major body of work.

The selection panel included Cal Flyn, Tom Jeffreys and Arusa Qureshi.

Join us for an online discussion with Bothy Project’s 2022 non-fiction writing residents and Orkney-based writer Cal Flyn on Wednesday 7 December 2022. This event marks the first of Bothy Project’s ‘in discussion’ series which brings together cohorts of residents to share and discuss their work and research.

We are very grateful to Creative Scotland for their support of these residencies.
