Lisette May Monroe is an artist and writer based in Glasgow. She is co-director of Rosie’s Disobedient Press with Adrien Howard, a press working with artists who use writing as an essential part of a visual arts practice. For the residency Lisette will be developing ideas of suburban horror, sited in her hometown of Kippax, Yorkshire. She will use the form of the memoir to dissect the ways in which she has been consumed by the monsters of labour, capacity and finance.
