Inshriach Bothy

We’re excited to announce that Bothy Project is moving into a new chapter, working to provide more residencies through new partnerships and in new locations. After a decade working with the wonderful Inshriach Estate in Cairngorms National Park and together hosting over 200 residencies, Inshriach Bothy has retired as a residency location. We’d like to thank Inshriach Estate for getting involved back in 2011, when Bobby Niven and Iain MacLeod imagined and built the bothy with an RSA Residencies for Scotland Award, collaborating with Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop and its members.

We are working on a number of exciting new partnerships and plans in the Cairngorms National Park and beyond, of which there will be news soon. Also watch out for open calls for residencies at Sweeney’s Bothy on Eigg and our public programme of talks, events and posters.

If you’ve been resident at Inshriach Bothy in the last 10 years and wish to share your reflections and epiphanies, in words, images or video, please email info@bothyproject.com.
